The movement of people and goods has become critical for large cities and the globalized world. At the same time, old ways of planning become obsolete with the increasing complexity of the system and the requirements to build systems that are sustainable over time. Using public data we analyze urban mobility in the context of the demands of current and future cities, and present new ways of thinking how to improve it.

Making decisions within a big city becomes an increasingly complex task. The large infrastructure projects which could bring solutions are paralyzed by the confrontation between different interest groups. How should these decisions be taken under the context of complexity? We propose a multi-criteria and participative approach, and applied it to the iconic and controversial case of Ribereña Highway.
